Blown-in Wall Insulation

The most energy loss that happens in a home happens through the walls. In fact, if you feel your home is losing heat, 35% of it is going through the walls. And if your home in Michigan was built in the first half of the last century, there is a very good chance that zero insulation exists in your current walls. Adding insulation to existing walls may seem like a large and invasive task; however, it couldn't be easier. First, we just need to verify that the current walls contain no insulation so that we can ensure a dense pack of cellulose. Then, when our crew comes out, they will cut small holes in the interior or exterior walls of your home and blow cellulose into each cavity, then re-seal the holes when they're done. This will greatly reduce your energy costs!
